Graduated from Yerevan State University Department of Applied Mathematics, then was post-graduated student of Department of Sociology, graduated courses of filmmakers. Her films participated in different Film Festivals as: Kinoshok, 2004 (Anapa, Russia), INPUT, 2004 (Russia, Germany), Isfahan, 2004 (Iran), Golden Apricot, 2005 (Armenia), Armenian Film Festival, 2006 (San-Francisco, USA), International Women’s Film Festival Dortmund/Koln, 2007 (Germany), Golden Apricot 2008 (Armenia), Golden Apricot 2009 (Armenia) Human Rights Film Festival “Steps” Kharkow, Ukraine (2009), Women’s IFF Filmmor 2010, Istanbul (Turkey) and others. Film “Jrarat, Miniatures” received DIPLOMA in program Armenian Panorama in IFF Golden Apricot, 2008, Armenia. Film “The Girl with Matches” received DIPLOMA in IFF “Land and People”, 1-3 June, 2011, Ufa, Bashkorstan, Russia. Since 2004 she is director of International Women’s Film Festival “KIN” www.liza.am
