Dave was born in East-Berlin in 1975 and has directed about 65 films. He received his masters degree in English / American and Cultural Studies from Humboldt-University Berlin. He studies directing in Berlin. As independent filmmaker and critic Dave travels to festivals and organizes annual film workshops called KinoKabarets. Being a poet and author he also teaches at creative-writing workshops for young people. Dave’s multimedia works have been published in numerous journals, anthologies, on DVDs and online. His films are broadcast. Dave received festival awards for the following films: Ingredienzien, Spieltriep, GeburtsTOD, Parlando, ROFL, ANGELS.
